Mike Gatto

In 2010, this Democratic Party politician assumed office as a forty-third district representative in the California State Assembly. Before entering politics, he practiced law at the O'Melveny & Myers and Mayer Brown firms.
After earning a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, he received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in downtown Los Angeles.
He penned the California Homemade Food Act, which was signed into law at the beginning of 2013 by Governor Jerry Brown.
He was raised in eastern Los Angeles' Silver Lake and Franklin hills neighborhoods. His marriage to Danielle Gatto resulted in two daughters.
While attending law school, Gatto worked for California Democrat and United States Representative Brad Sherman.
