American hockey player who was thrust into a starting role after Montreal Canadiens' star Carey Price went down with an injury in 2015. He made his NHL debut opposite goalie Matt O'Connor, who was also making his first career start.
After playing four years at Princeton University, he successfully tried out for the Ontario Reign of ECHL, leading to a contract with the Canadiens in 2013.
His performance his senior year of college earned him Second Team All-Ivy League honors.
He was born to Mary and Terry Condon and has a brother named Zach.
Prolonged injuries to Price in the 2015-2016 season led the Canadiens to trade for another goalie in fellow Ivy League alum Ben Scrivens.
