She has married four times: first to John Phillips on December 31, 1962, then to Dennis Hopper on October 31, 1970, then to Robert S. Burch on May 21, 1978, and finally to Steven Zax in 2000. She has a daughter, Chynna, and two sons, Austin and Aron.
