Michelle Harrison
Children's Author
Initially their for her Waterstone Children's Book Prize-winning novel The 13 Treasures, she later developed the work into a trilogy and went on to publish a non-series young adult novel titled Unrest.
Before becoming a writer, she studied art at Staffordshire University and worked in a children's bookstore and for a children's book publishing company.
She penned a prequel to her 13 Treasures series titled One Wish.
She grew up in Grays, Essex, England, with two older sisters, and later lived and worked in Oxfordshire.
She is a contemporary of fellow British children's writer Joe Craig.
