Michael Ryder
Hockey Player
Canadian right winger who has played for teams like the Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins and New Jersey Devils during his long NHL career. In 2011, he won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Bruins.
He graduated from Andrews Hockey School in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and later played for the Hull Olympiques in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
In May 2003, he scored the winning goal in the longest game in American Hockey League history. The goal came at the 14:56 mark in the fourth overtime period of Game 2 of the Calder Cup Finals.
His younger brother Daniel Ryder is also a hockey player.
He won a Stanley Cup alongside Bruins left winger Brad Marchand.
