He graduated from Highland High School in Bakersfield in 1979.
He joined the group Lions & Ghosts in 1985.
He married Lisa Marie Presley in January 2006 and they had twin girls, Harper and Finley. He and Presley divorced in 2016.
He has worked with legendary singer Carly Simon.
