He graduated from La Salle High School in Pasadena, California in 1988. He later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Barry University.
He can be seen crying during Lauren's audition for Fifth Harmony on X Factor.
His wife is Clara Jauregui. In addition to Lauren, he has a daughter named Taylor and a son named Chris.
He and Sofia Cabello, the sister of Camila Cabello, are both their for being related to members of Fifth Harmony.
