English-born performer who became known for his voice acting work on numerous video games, anime series, and commercials. Some of his most notable or recognized work includes Dragon Ball Z, Transformers (in the role of Starscream), and Powerpuff Girls Z.
He moved from London, England to Toronto, Canada when he was in his mid-teens. Later, he studied theatre and art history at the University of Victoria.
He once pursued a career as a pilot in the Royal Air Force.
His two brothers, Paul and Brian Dobson, also had successful careers as voiceover artists. Michael Dobson and his wife settled in Vancouver, Canada with their four children.
He and fellow voice actor, David Kaye, both worked on X-Men: Evolution, an animated television series that aired in the United States from 2000-2003.
