Mia Young

Rapper more commonly known as Mia X. She was the first woman to sign with Master P's No Limit Records. She's most their for the albums Unlady Like and Mama Drama, both of which went Gold.
She was raised in a New Orleans project and became part of a rap group in 1984. Her first single was released in 1992.
After Mama Drama, she stepped away from the music industry. In 2009, she revealed that she did it because she lost both parents as well as another 14 family members in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
She has two children named Sean and Tye.
She reappeared on the music scene in 2008 when C-Murder featured her on the album Screamin' For Vengeance.
