She studied ballet in Zagreb and became prima ballerina of the Zagreb Opera when she was 17 years-old.
She was danced for the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo before moving to the U.S., where she opened her own dance studio in New York in 1960.
She married an actor from Austria and they had one child.
She was an accomplished ballet dancer like Mikhail Baryshnikov.
