Well known financier and businessman who was also the husband of actress Pia Zadora. He made a fortune in corporate finance.
He began as a junior stock analyst for the investment firm Piper Jaffray. He obtained his Master's Degree in Finance from Ohio State University.
He owned parts of major cruise lines, cosmetics brands, food stores, and casinos, and he would have made money even if his companies had gone bankrupt.
His second marriage was to actress Pia Zadora from 1977 until 1993. His third marriage was to Tali Sinai in 2010 and lasted up until his death in 2019. He had a total of 5 children; three daughters and two sons.
He built his house on the spot of Douglas Fairbanks and Rita Hayworth's old manor, which he tore down.
