Jamaica and Slovenia's 'Queen of the Track' who won nine Olympic medals in track events - more than any other woman in history.
Inspired by a radio broadcast of Donald Quarrie's sprinting at the 1976 Olympics, she moved to the U.S. to train in track herself.
In 1998, after controversy erupted about whether she should step down from the Jamaican national team to give younger runners a chance, she moved to Slovenia.
She was married to Nat Page, an American high jump Olympian.
