Perhaps most well known for his portrayal of Patsy de la Serda in the HBO comedy series Getting On, he is also notable for his role as Todd in the FOX series The Last Man on Earth, as well as for his recurring roles on Community; Enlisted; Running Wilde; and Choke.Kick.Girl: The Series.
During his high school years, he first pursued his interest in boxing and later began acting on the suggestion of one of his teachers. He went on to attend the State University of New York (SUNY)-Purchase and subsequently launched a stage acting career while holding a day job as a cigar shop employee.
He appeared with Greg Kinnear and Toni Collette in the 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine.
He spent his youth in Miami, Florida's Little Havana neighborhood.
He acted in three episodes of Tyler Perry 's House of Payne.
