She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Montana in 1993.
She has also anchored news programs in Hartford, Seattle, and Boise.
She and her husband have two children together.
She is a former anchor of Up to the Minute, which was a position taken by Anne-Marie Green in 2013.
