Swiss skeleton racer who won an Olympic gold medal in 2006 at the Turin games, as well as two gold medals at the World Championships.
She won her first gold medal in International Competition at the 2001 World Championships.
She finished 9th in the skeleton at the 2010 Olympics.
She married her trainer Snorre Pedersen in 2002.
She won gold at the 2006 Olympics where speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno also took home the gold.
