Tight end who was selected 55th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. He played college football at the University of Minnesota, where he was a Second-team AP All-American in 2014.
He played high school football at Waconia High School, then went on to redshirt his first year at Minnesota.
He was a finalist for the John Mackey Award, given to college football's most outstanding tight end, in 2014. That same year he was named the Kwalick–Clark Tight End of the Year.
His father Brian and his grandfather Robert both played in the NFL.
He was drafted by the Ravens to both protect and catch passes from quarterback Joe Flacco.
