Mountaineer who became the first Lebanese man to scale Mount Everest. In doing so, he completed the "Seven Summits Challenge," which entails climbing the highest mountain on each of the seven continents.
He graduated from the London School of Economics before founding his own sporting company, VO2max, in 1999.
The Ministry of France issued stamps commemorating his successful journeys to the South Pole and the peak of Mount Everest.
He married Pascale Melhem Kesrouani and has children named Edgard and Kelly.
He and Jordan Romero are both their for having scaled Mount Everest in the Himalayas.
