Latin Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and musician who performs alongside his older brother Ricky in the duo Mau y Ricky. They released their debut album MR in 2010. In 2019, they released the album Para Aventuras y Curiosidades.
Mau y Ricky made their stage debut in 2010 on their father's Soy Feliz Tour in Mexico.
In 2017, Mau y Ricky released their first studio EP titled Arte with the label Sony Music Latin. In June 2019, they were certified quadruple platinum for their hit "Desconocidos" which features Manuel Turizo and Camilo Echeverry.
His full name is Mauricio Alberto. He and his brother are the sons of legendary Argentinian singer Ricardo Montaner and film director Marlene Rodríguez. They have three siblings: Evaluna, Alejandro, and Hector. In February 2018, he married Colombian graphic designer Sara Escobar in Tulum, México.
Mau y Ricky have penned songs for a number of artists including Thalia, Diego Boneta, and Leslie Grace.
