Icelandic singer who co-founded the punk rock band Hatari which became known for their anti-capitalist performance art roots. They've released a number of hit singles including "Odyr," "Spillingardans" and "Klefi / Samed."
He graduated from the Iceland University of the Arts and created a one-man play called Griðastaður.
His band finished 10th in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with their entry "Hatrið mun sigra."
He formed Hatari with his cousin Klemens Hannigan. His mother Gunnhildur is an artist and his father Haraldur is a business owner. He got engaged to Brynhildur Karlsdóttir in September 2021.
Bjork and JJ Julius Son are two other successful singers who were born in Iceland.
