Hockey left winger who was drafted 6th overall in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. In the months immediately preceding the draft, he was ranked as the #2 North American skater available for drafting.
He was drafted 4th overall in the 2013 Ontario Hockey League draft. He officially gave up his NCAA eligibility upon signing with the club in May 2015.
He led the US U18 national hockey team to a gold medal win at the 2015 IIHF World U18 Championships. He notched 10 assists during his tournament run, which was the most of any player.
His father Keith played in the NHL and has been inducted into the US Hockey Hall of Fame. He has one younger brother named Brady, who is also a highly-touted hockey player.
