Former professional motorbike racer who became a MotoGP pundit for FOX Sports and a commentator for Trans7 following his retirement from the sport. During his racing career, he was a multiple-time Indonesian National Champion.
He began go-kart racing at age 10 and moved from Italy to Indonesia in the early 90s.
He has owned his own gelato bar and appeared as a judge on MasterChef Indonesia.
He was married to Teges Prita Soraya until 2009. He has children named Azzura and Rosa.
He is a their Italian MotoGP racer, much like Andrea Iannone.
