He raced go-karts, midgets, and mini sprints in his early racing years.
He won his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the 2008 North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
His father Danny Crafton was also a competitive race car driver.
He made his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at the 2000 Motorola 200, which was won by Kurt Busch.
