First baseman and outfielder drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 12th round of the 2015 Major League Baseball draft. As a member of the Dodgers in 2020, he won his first World Series.
Prior to being drafted by the Dodgers in 2015, he was drafted in the 48th round of the 2011 MLB draft by the Kansas City Royals.
He hit his first MLB home run against Kyle Hendricks of the Chicago Cubs on June 14, 2019.
He was born in Snellville, Georgia, where he lived with his parents David and Lynn Beaty, as well as his sister Jennifer and his younger brother Kyle. He and his high school sweetheart, Jesica Parsley Beaty, were married in 2016.
As a member of the 2020 Dodgers' team, he won a championship alongside Mookie Betts, Clayton Kershaw and Corey Seager.
