Croatian professional football player who is known for his work as a centre back for several clubs including Club Brugge, Besiktas, and Rijeka. He is also known for having played with several of Croatia's national teams.
He first started his youth career in 2002 as a part of the Kutjevo club. He then joined the Kamen Ingrad club in 2005 and made his professional debut in 2011 with the club Cibalia. He then joined the Croatia under 19 national team in 2012 and became a part of their first national team in 2014.
He has won several honors and awards for his playing including the Croatia Football Cup and Croatia Football Super Cup in 2014 as a part of the Rijeka club.
He was born and raised in Pozega, Croatia and shared a photo with his girlfriend Anita Majstorovic through Instagram in April of 2018.
