Striker who has gained fame for his club career in the Egyptian Premier League, including for Petrojet SC between 2010-2014. He would later sign with Al Ahly in 2016.
He made his professional soccer debut in 2010 with Petrojet SC.
He played in the 2012 Toulon Tournament and 2012 Olympic with Egypt's senior squad. He later earned a spot on the 2018 FIFA World Cup squad where he played as a striker.
He was originally born and raised in Cairo, Egypt.
He and Amr Elsolia have played as teammates for Egypt's national soccer team.
