Folk Singer
Welsh folk singer who has earned global claim for albums like 1984's Nobody's Fool and 2010's Under Lemonade Skies over the course of his three decade-long career. He received the BBC Welsh Music Award for Best Male Artist in 2004.
He performed in school music festivals and was writing his own songs in his teens. He began his recording career in 1983.
He is an outstanding amateur golfer, having won the Glamorganshire Golf Club Championship four times.
He married Sian Joseph in 1985.
He collaborated with singer Steve Knightley on the 2004 EP The Great American Novel.
