Professional strong man who won the 2019 World's Strongest Man competition. He would subsequently finish as the runner-up in that year's Arnold Strongman Classic.
He moved to California at age 20, where he was taken in by strong man Odd Haugen.
He won the 2017 Ultimate Strongman Summermania competition. He has also amassed more than 180,000 subscribers to his self-titled YouTube channel.
While born in Riga, Latvia, he was later raised in Amherst, Massachusetts.
He and Mike O'Hearn have appeared together on YouTube.
