Martin Fourcade
Biathlete
Biathlete who won two gold medals at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. He also won gold medals in five World Championship events between 2011 and 2013.
He started training as a biathlete in 2002 and began participating in international competitions four years later.
He placed in the top twenty in every event at the 2009 World Championships.
His brother, Simon, was a biathlete who represented France at the Junior World Championships in 2007 and 2008.
He and Germany's Michael Greis are both Biathlon World Cup champions.
