Lead vocalist of the rock band Hinder who is also a songwriter and guitarist. He was previously a vocalist and lead guitarist for the band Faktion.
In the late 1990s, he performed in a band called Carb. He met his Faktion band mates at the University of North Texas in 2002.
He played lead guitar and did backing vocals for the country duo Drankmore alongside lead singer Jarrod Denton.
He was born in Tulia, Texas.
He took over lead vocal duties in Hinder from Austin Winkler.
