Classically trained pianist who has enjoyed a career as a collaborative pianist, chamber musician, soloist and orchestral player. She is best known for her collaborations with her husband Patrick Laird, a cellist, as a group called Brooklyn Duo. Together, they compose covers of top pop artists songs as seen on their popular YouTube channel.
At the age of 13, she made her solo orchestral debut with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
She completed a 3-year fellowship in the role of principal pianist for New World Symphony in Miami. She received a Master's degree in collaborative piano from The Juilliard School and a Master's in solo piano from The University of British Columbia.
She met her husband Patrick while attending the Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival in Maine. They married in 2012.
The first pop songs she and Patrick covered were Shakira's "Empire" and John Legend's "All of Me."
