Czech tennis player who earned worldwide acclaim for her runner-up finish at the 2019 French Open. She became the first teenager to compete in a Grand Slam final since 2009, and was the youngest player in the world's top 20 singles competitors when she reached #16 in June 2019.
She began playing tennis at 4-years-old. She later made her WTA Tour debut at the 2015 Sparta Prague Open as a doubles competitor.
She won the WTA 2017 Ladies Open Biel Bienne singles title. She previously won the ITF Prague Open as a singles competitor after winning on the doubles' side in 2015.
Her parents' names are Jindřiška and David.
She defeated Johanna Konta in the 2019 French Open semi-finals before finishing as runner-up to Ashleigh Barty.
