Point guard who was selected first overall in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers after playing one season of college basketball at the University of Washington.
He led his high school club to the Maryland Private School League Championship as a senior and he was selected for the McDonald's All-American game.
He was the FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship MVP after helping the US U-18 team win gold at the 2016 FIBA Championship in Chile. In April of 2018 he became the youngest player ever to record a triple double in a NBA basketball game.
His mother's name is Ebony and he has an older sister named Shauntese.
He played alongside Miles Bridges, Jayson Tatum, Lonzo Ball and Malik Monk in the 2016 McDonald's All-American Game.
