Swimmer who won a silver medal in the 4x100 meter freestyle at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
She began swimming when she was seven, as a treatment for her severe scoliosis.
She swam at the University of Georgia, where she was a 27-time All-American, and 11-time National Champion.
She married Chad McClendon in 2010; they had her first child, a son named Kason in 2012. In 2013, they welcomed their daughter, Sanaya.
She won her Olympic medal alongside relay teammate Amanda Beard.
