Singer who has become a hugely respected name in Brazilian Christian music with such releases as Imenso Amor (1986), Coração Adorador (1999) and In Extremidade (2010), the latter of which earned a Latin Grammy. She is also their for having been a member of the Christian pop group Voices.
Growing up, she was inspired by American gospel artists like Amy Grant and Sandi Patty.
She hosted the Christian music program Conexão Gospel from 1997 to 2007.
She was previously married to Alberto Brizola and Sérgio Menezes. She has children named Luiza Gerk and Letícia Brizola.
She sang the song "Ressuscita-me" as a duet with Aline Barros.
