Known for TV commercials and for starring in Ride the High Country. She was also known for her role in the 1973 film Genesis II and the 1954 film Marine.
In her youth, she was trained and mentored by the their actress Eva Le Gallienne.
Her autobiography, Breaking the Silence, discusses her bipolar disorder.
She married John Seventa in 1960, and the pair divorced two years later.
She once did ads with actor James Garner.
