Maria Ilieva
Pop Singer
Award-winning Bulgarian pop singer known for her albums Moon Dream and I Come To You. She's also the founder of MI Productions and was a judge on the first three seasons of Bulgaria's X-Factor.
She started learning how to play the piano when she was five and was part of the Petko Stainov Choir Academy. She sang for the band Kaffe in the late 1990s.
She's also appeared in several movies, including The Russian Specialist and Undisputed 2: Last Man Standing. She graduated from university with Master's degrees in both Insurance and International Relations.
Her parents, Vanya and Krasimir, were both in the music business. She grew up in the Bulgarian city of Veliko Tarnovo.
She once opened for famed singer George Michael.
