Emmy-winning television producer most well known for her work on the hit prime time series 30 Rock and the legendary late night variety show Saturday Night Live.
She got her start in television as the talent coordinator on the Saturday Night Live: 15th Anniversary TV special in 1989.
In 1978, she was kidnapped and held for ransom for nine hours until the kidnappers were paid $100,000. The police managed to detain the culprits.
Her mother's name is Jayne Centre Klein and her father is fashion designer Calvin Klein. In 2000, she married model Scott Murphy but the two later divorced.
At the 2007 Golden Globes, Alec Baldwin personally thanked her in his acceptance speech, calling her "the greatest producer in the history of broadcast television."
