Former NFL quarterback who helped lead the St. Louis Rams offense from 2002 to 2008.
He was drafted and then cut by the Saints, then picked up and cut by the Falcons, before ending up with the Rams.
He was a two-time team MVP for the Rams, and a Pro Bowl MVP in 2003.
His father Jim was a quarterback at Notre Dame University in the early 1970s, and one of his sisters, Kate, was a WNBA draft pick.
He had big shoes to fill, following the Ram's great QB, Kurt Warner.
