Spanish actress and producer who is best recognized for her television roles and feature film appearances. She is best recognized for having starred as Elvira de Castro on the 2011 series El Secreto de Puente Viejo as well as Lucia Alvarez on the series Aqui no hay quien viva.
She first started gaining attention as an actress in 1993 when she played Maria on the comedy show Farmacia de guardia. Then in 2003, she gained further attention with a recurring role on the series Aquí no hay quien viva. Then in 2007, she starred in Círculo rojo.
She is also known for her work as a director and made her debut on the 2011 film 5ºB Escalera Dcha where she also served as producer and screenwriter.
She was born and raised in Madrid, Spain and is the daughter of makeup artist Paca Almenara. She married Ignacio Hernandez Medrano in 2016.
She starred in the 2009 feature film My Life in Ruins alongside Nia Vardalos and Richard Dreyfuss.
