He began his professional career playing for the Red Sox rookie affiliate team the DSL Red Sox.
He made history as the first visiting player to collect 4+ hits in his Fenway Park debut since Jonathan Schoop in 2014.
He has multiple brothers who are also professional baseball players.
In Game 1 of the 2020 Wild Card Series against the Toronto Blue Jays, he hit a home run, joining Evan Longoria as the only Rays' players in franchise history to homer in their first career postseason game.
