Director who has won acclaim in Iran as the director of such films as Quarantine (2008), Life is Elsewhere (2014) and Simple Worker Needed (2017), all of which he also wrote. He was also the primary director of the romance series Asheghaneh.
He began his career as an actor and began working as an assistant director immediately after graduating from high school.
His film I Am Not Salvador (2016) was one of the biggest box office hits in Iran the year of its release.
He married actress Yekta Naser in 2016.
He directed Mohammad Reza Golzar in the comedy Wing Mirror (2017).
