Mammed Ordubadi
Poet
A writer, poet, playwright, and journalist, he was one of Azerbaijan's most notable twentieth-century intellectuals. His best-known works include Dumanlı Təbriz (Foggy Tabriz) and Qılınc və qələm (Sword and Quill).
He was educated at the Mahammad Sidgi secular school.
He joined the Communist Party in 1918.
His father passed away when he was a child. As a result, he had to support his family by working in a factory.
He, like Sediq Afghan , was one of Azerbaijan's most influential thinkers.
