Mamat Khalid
Screenwriter
Screenwriter and occasional director who was best known for having penned the films Zombi Kampung Pisang and Kala Malam Bulan Mengambang. In 2005, he won the Best Screenplay award at the Malaysia Film Festival.
Prior to embarking upon a career in film, he worked in a government office.
In 2017, he directed the film 16 Puasa.
He is the brother of Malaysian cartoonist Lat.
M. Nasir starred in the film Puteri Gunung Ledang based off of his script.
