Actress who became a fixture on Brazilian television with roles on popular series like Shades of Sin, Tres Irmas and Passione. She shared the Candango for Best Actress at the Brasilia Film Festival for her performance in the 1995 film 16060.
She attended at an American school as a child and later studied Journalism at the University of São Paulo.
She was bedridden for nearly a year following a serious car accident in 1979.
She was married to Paulo Marinho from 1983 to 1995. She has a daughter with Marinho named Maria.
She was directed by Hector Babenco in the 2015 drama My Hindu Friend.
