Magnus Betner
Comedian
Swedish comedian who is known for his dark comedy and discussion of topics like politics, religion and society. In 2012 he began hosting his own political comedy show, Betnér Direkt, on Kanal 5.
He studied at Stockholm Institute of Education and Stockholm University.
He was awarded Swedish Comedian of the Year in 2005 and 2010.
His parents are Lennarth Betnér and Susanne Betnér née Bergman. He was married to Kaisa Betnér from 2001 to 2006. They had a daughter, Lina. He lives with partner Helena Sandklef.
He has used his comedy to criticize figures like Ebba von Sydow, Mikael Persbrandt and Per Gessle.
