She was the first Polish woman ever to sign a contract with cosmetics brand L'Oréal. She has also been an actress, appearing in films like Solidarity and Strange Crime.
She has two daughters with her husband.
She appeared in the 2009 film Tara Bullba, which was based on the novel of the same name by Nikolai Gogol.
