Australian swimmer who took home her first Olympic gold medal in 2016, when she won the 4×100-meter freestyle event. She won gold in the same event at the World Aquatics Championships the previous year.
She grew up in the town of Yeppoon. She has attended Griffith University in Queensland, Australia.
She is known for her philanthropy, having served as an ambassador for MS Queensland and volunteered at children's hospitals.
Her grandparents owned a swimming pool, which is why she learned to swim.
She was teammates with Belinda Hocking at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
