Best recognized as one member of the Mandopop boy band SpeXial, he is known in the band by the mononym Evan. SpeXial debuted in 2012 with their self-titled album and has followed with numerous albums, EPs, and soundtracks.
Before joining SpeXial, he rose to fame in 2012 as the champion of Sunshine Nation - Sunshine Boyz.
Outside performing with SpeXial, he has acted in shows like Men With Sword, The Ultimate Ranger, and Moon River.
Born in Canada, he attended college there between joining SpeXial and would return to Taiwan after his graduation.
In 2015, SpeXial worked with Ayumi Hamasaki on the single "Sayonara."
