Avant-garde painter best known for her 1914 work, "The Violin." Also acknowledged for "Portrait of a Philosopher" from 1915 and "The Model" from 1913.
She traveled to Kiev and St. Petersburg to study art. She was primarily interested in Italian Renaissance painting.
She redefined shapes and images in her artwork.
She married Boris Eding in 1918 and gave birth to a son soon afterwards.
Her artistic style was influenced by that of Salvador Dali.
