He began rapping in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of nine and joined an amateur rap group at age twelve.
His real name is Christopher Brian Bridges; he co-founded the record label Disturbing tha Peace and released Battle of the Sexes in 2010.
He was born to Roberta Shields and Wayne Brian Bridges. He married Eudoxie Mbouguiengue in 2014. He has four daughters named Karma, Cai, Cadence and Chance.
He collaborated with Usher and Lil Jon on the hit 2004 song "Yeah!"
